About Shriver Job Corps Center 

The Shriver Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Advanced Computer Systems Administration, Advanced Transportation Service Worker, various Computer Sciences, Carpentry, Automotive Maintenance, Millwright Welding, Office Administration and Security & Protective Services. 

Our 21-acre campus is nestled away minutes off of RTE 2, and 2A on Jackson Road in Devens MA. We service between 200 and 300 dorm students ages 16 to 24 years old at any given time with rolling admissions weekly. Our staff value the student experience and often cite the personal impact of what we do as a major factor of employment satisfaction. In addition, we have amenities that are open for staff to utilize such as a gym, basketball courts, full service cafeteria and more.

 

Position Summary

The Records Manager is responsible for the maintenance, accuracy and completeness of student records and schedules. The Records Manager oversees the records department which includes a Records Officer and an Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
  • Overall responsibility to ensure the integrity of all student-related actions, accountability and performance outcomes.
  • Supervises the student records function through effective planning, scheduling, training and staff supervision.
  • Performs statistical analyses of student records data.
  • Administers Center’s compliance with the requirements and provisions of the OASIS and CIS database management programs. Serves as back up contact for CIS.
  • Ensures the accurate and complete maintenance of student records to facilitate the timely submission of required reports.
  • Assists students on matters relating to pay and allowances, leave, class schedules, and travel/transportation.
  • Ensures accurate and timely reconciliation with of Government provided travel per DOL guidelines.
  • Serves as the Center’s Accountability Officer, monitors student accountability issues and documentation.

Experience and Education

  • Associates Degree Required
  • 2 years related supervisory experience preferred
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing.
