Description

The Center Service Incentive Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with program integrity guidelines and overseeing the behavior management system within the Center. This role involves providing orientation to new students, training staff, and administering disciplinary actions in accordance with established policies. The officer also maintains student disciplinary records, analyzes behavioral trends, and collaborates with local law enforcement when necessary. Additionally, the officer works closely with the Career Development Manager to promote Career Success Standards and enhance programs and services for students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the Center behavior management system to ensure student compliance with rules and regulations
  • Provide orientation to new students regarding Center rules, regulations, and available services
  • Administer penalties for disciplinary infractions according to established guidelines
  • Investigate student incidents involving misconduct and report significant concerns
  • Maintain complete files of student disciplinary records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Analyze behavioral trends and prepare required reports
  • Act as a liaison with local law enforcement regarding students charged with criminal activities
  • Develop community linkages for education and employment opportunities
  • Mentor and model Career Success Standards for students
  • Collaborate with staff from all departments to ensure effective supervision and services

The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of one-year experience in Job Corps or related residential youth program required. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
