Position Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, tech-savvy, and intellectually curious Inside Sales Agent to join our growing sales organization. This role focuses on driving revenue and supporting independent retailers across North America. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Manage 200–400 accounts through proactive outreach (calls, emails, video conferencing).
- Drive reorders, upsell seasonal products, and re-engage inactive accounts.
- Oversee pre-book orders during product launches to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Participate in trade shows and virtual events to promote new products.
Customer Engagement
- Build lasting relationships with retailers by understanding their needs and recommending products.
- Ensure a seamless buying experience through clear, consistent communication.
- Collaborate with Territory and District Managers to support account success.
Order & Operations Support
- Create and manage sales orders; coordinate changes and deliveries with Customer Service and warehouse teams.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order history in CRM systems.
Technology & Tools
- Use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom for daily workflow and communication.
- Navigate CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and digital ordering systems to manage accounts and analyze trends.
- Leverage digital resources, inventory tools, and remote showroom technology for consultative selling.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in sales, account management, or customer service (preferably wholesale or B2B).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Comfortable with Zoom and other video conferencing tools.
- Experience with CRM systems and order entry platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport and close sales remotely.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and adaptable.
- Quick learner with a curious mindset.
