PAE is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Field Engineer to join our team as a Construction Administrator supporting multiple active and upcoming projects in central Pennsylvania. This remote role will require regular site visits in Central Pennsylvania and close coordination with project teams to ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. Candidates will be required to reside within driving distance of the site location in Columbia County, PA.

What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary Construction Admin for multiple concurrent construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve field challenges.
- Provide mechanical and electrical field expertise, including commissioning support.
- Make sound engineering decisions in real-time based on site conditions and project requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reporting for all site activities.
- Participate in client consultations and represent the engineering team professionally.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent credential preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in the building industry.
- Proven experience in construction administration, site inspections, and client-facing roles.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in field environments.
- Experience with commissioning processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
What We OfferÂ
- Hiring Base Salary Range: $80,000-$120,500 annualÂ
- This position is eligible for straight overtime payÂ
The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Â
