OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for spearheading the conceptualization, coordination, production, and editing for the credit union’s website and other digital channel projects as assigned, tailoring for both member and corporate audiences in alignment with the credit union’s marketing plan and in support of organizational strategic goals.
This position plays a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, optimizing our digital marketing efforts, and driving member engagement through innovative website strategies. Supports the Marketing team with the planning, writing, editing, implementing, and publishing website content. This will include text, images, videos, digital publications, and more.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Content Management:

Develop, edit, and maintain high-quality content for the credit union’s website.

Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and is relevant to our members’ needs.

Following the content strategy, editorial guidelines, and best practices for web writing, produce content that is smart in its use of SEO (search engine optimization) keywords and focused on optimizing copy to contain relevant keywords and phrases.

Use our CMS (content management system) to build new and revised web page content.

Organize and optimize existing website content to enhance user experience and engagement.

Ensure all content is up-to-date and meets regulatory compliance standards.
Innovative Website Solutions:

Proactively identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the website’s functionality and user experience.

Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies, applying new strategies to drive website improvements.
-
Follow all accessibility guidelines; monitor, screen and mediate all digital documents for ADA compliance.
Landing Page Creation and Optimization:

Build and manage landing pages for various marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Write compelling and effective copy for landing pages to drive conversions.
-
Use A/B testing to optimize landing pages for better performance.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Google AdWords Management:

Collaborate with agency to run Google AdWords campaigns to drive targeted traffic to our website.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve ROI.
Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure cohesive and
-
effective marketing strategies.

Provide regular reports on website performance, SEO, and AdWords campaigns, offering
-
insights and recommendations for improvement.

Represent the credit union in a professional manner at all times; exhibit above-average communication skills.

Maintains a thorough understanding and adherence to credit union regulations, compliance, policies, procedures, guidelines and make sure that all necessary disclosures are posted correctly.

Meets deadlines as assigned and directed.

Maintains a positive and caring atmosphere for members and employees consistent with the credit union’s mission and philosophy.

Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.

Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established by Sandia Area Federal Credit Union and federal and state legal and regulatory guidelines, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), as applicable to this position.
