Description

The Behavioral Health Services Director is responsible for the primary direction and supervision of Bridgeway’s Outpatient services and personnel in all locations and areas served. This role provides leadership and consultation across all areas of Behavioral Health Services. Reports regularly to the Behavioral Health Administrator and Vice President of Behavioral Health Services on the progress of the services/programs, as well as matters of agency liability, program expansion, and other significant matters.

-Assures comprehensive communication, integration of treatment services, coordination with external resources and effective clinical oversight of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services.
-Develops new services, programs, contacts, and linkages as necessary within the scope of the organization’s mission and financial goals.
-Participates in the Behavioral Health Services Outcomes Management process ensuring that the quality improvement system is consumer driven and complies with all applicable regulations and standards.
-Oversees and coordinates clinical activities, utilization review, quality assurance and pursuit of best practice models.
-Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, planning and assigning work, and ensuring a cohesive work environment through resolving problems, addressing concerns, and awarding employees and taking corrective measures.
-Develops supervisory staff’s short- and long-term goals and strategies.
-Conducts supervisory staff meetings/supervision on a monthly basis and communicates routinely with staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities: All outpatient services staff, including but not limited to Substance Use, Outpatient Therapy and the First Episode Psychosis Program.

Minimum requirements include a Master's degree (MA or MSW) in psychology, social work or related human service field; be a licensed professional counselor (LPC) working toward clinical licensure or a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). Must have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving history, meet driver insurability requirements, and reliable transportation. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
