Job Description
- Performs all duties in a safe manner, being responsible for the safety of yourself and the employees around you
- Must comply with all MSHA, State, BAFTE regulations as well as any customer specific rules
- Completes task training on the safe operation of blast loading equipment
- Strong understanding and belief in Nelson Brothers safety philosophy and policies and practice and promote those policies
- Willing to travel, within the business unit, on short notice
- Willing to work overtime on short notice
- Must have excellent attendance
- Loads holes utilizing blast loading equipment including pumping units or any other equipment required at the specific operation
- Performs pre and post shift equipment inspections
- Performs minor routine maintenance on truck and equipment
- Operates skid steers, stem trucks or any other required equipment for blast area clean-up or hole stemming process
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Company
Operates Following Equipment:
- Pump Truck
- Skid steer
- Blast truck/pick-up (non DOT only)
- DeWater trucks
