Qualifications:
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or related field, MBA preferred; with minimum of 10 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement or related area. Will consider a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Familiarity with procurement systems.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating multi-disciplinary contracts, strategic category management and Company programs/initiatives Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement management with up to $50M spend.
- Proficiency using formal strategic sourcing processes, category management, and supplier relationship management methods.
- Strong negotiating skills; excellent understanding of terms and conditions of development, supply and inventory agreements.
- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and materials management principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence all levels of staff and management.
- Experience in global, multi-plant manufacturing organization with revenues more than $500M.
- Preferred experience in industrial OEM, automotive, HVAC, or food service industry equipment with an electronic background.
- Normal office conditions with extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Travel: may be required to travel domestically and internationally.  25%
