The Marketing & Event Coordinator is a creative and detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting marketing, branding, and event coordination across the Chicago market. This hybrid role involves both on-site and off-site responsibilities, including event execution, social media content creation, collateral management, and digital marketing. The Coordinator works closely with the brand and sales teams to ensure the seamless implementation of strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, enhance guest experiences, and support business goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Events Coordination

In partnership with Sales & Events Manager, assist with logistical preparations, including gathering materials, coordinating store operations, and reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

Engage with attendees at activations by distributing promotional items (e.g., drink/taco tickets), collecting contact information, and promoting the Bodega brand.
Brand Support

Maintain and organize collateral materials, including event decks, decor items, giveaways, and merchandise.
Marketing Coordination

Manage and organize brand templates and assets for team use, including logos, fonts, presentation templates, and menus.
Digital Marketing

Update online event listings on platforms such as the company website, Eventbrite, and SevenRooms, utilizing SEO strategies and engaging copy.
Reputation Management

Conduct audits of guest-facing platforms (e.g., Yext, Popmenu) to ensure accurate business information, including hours, menu items, and images.
Social Media & Content Creation

Schedule and publish approved content, ensuring accurate links, hashtags, and platform-specific sizing.

Create engaging reels and videos using trends, audio, and typography, incorporating logos and relevant branding.

Working Conditions
This hybrid role requires a mix of remote work, on-site work at properties, and attendance at off-site events throughout the Chicago market. Flexible hours are expected, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
