The Utility / Dishwasher position is essential to maintaining a clean and organized back-of-house environment in a K12 school setting. Essential Responsibilities:
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines.
- Wash specific items by hand (e.g., cutting boards, large pots and pans).
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
- Assist with putting away deliveries and maintaining an organized back-of-house.
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
- Ensure a sufficient supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours.
- Monitor dishwashing machine operations and report any technical or performance issues promptly.
- Regularly remove garbage and sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
