QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Â
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Â
2+ years of experience with/working knowledge of bookkeeping practices and accepted office procedures. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Ability to perform a volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy, to make difficult mathematical computations with or without technical assistance, such as the use of a calculator and computer spreadsheet software. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions as well as technical or legal terminology. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Ability to prepare financial and other records in a systematic, neat, and legible manner. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, various levels of management staff and the general public in a professional and business-like manner. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Demonstrated ability to work with Excel, as well as, exposure to accounting software packages and databases. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Possess strong communication, administrative writing and organizational skills. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Some overnight in-state travel required. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Must possess a valid Arkansas driver's license and reliable transportation.
