SCOPE OF ROLE:
Provide all the necessary tools and training to support the warehouse employees, so that they can perform their duties safely, quickly, and profitably.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and coach the team with discipline, consistency, fairness, and respect
- Manage all HR aspects of the team: Coach, discipline, hire, fire, train
- Manage the efficient flow of material
- Receiving
- Putting away
- Picking
- Shipping
- Ensure the BRC standards are met, by all employees
- Become proficient with operating all warehouse forklifts and equipment in a safe manner
- Ensure all safety guidelines are being followed for internal and external employees
- Coordinate issues with customer service manager and sales
- Flexible work hours
- Develop working knowledge of all related systems. Must be able to perform any task necessary within the warehouse
- Assist as necessary in any functional work of the warehouse
- Make sure all freight is assigned appropriately and validated in a timely fashion
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse
- Perform cycle counts on a weekly basis to ensure that the entire warehouse is counted twice per year (at a minimum)
- Learn and do all types of negotiating with large freight companies, and small package carriers to facilitate accurate and timely shipping of product to our customers. Along with filing freight claims with carriers as needed.
- Work hand in hand with other Rocket co-workers in every department as needed to promote efficient informational needs and workflow
