As a Lead Caregiver, you’ll be the bridge between our caregiving team in the field and our office support team - helping new members and families feel welcomed, mentoring caregivers, and stepping in to ensure care never skips a beat. This is a role for the best of the best: leaders who can inspire others, solve problems with grace, and deliver exceptional care every time.
Starting Wage: $22-$26/hour Based on Experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some flexibility

🌻 What You’ll Do as a Lead Caregiver

Step In When Needed – Plan, coordinate, or provide coverage for families when caregivers are on PTO or unavailable, ensuring seamless support for members

Welcome & Onboard – Meet new members and families, and help new caregivers hit the ground running

Coach & Mentor – Offer training, feedback, and encouragement to help caregivers grow and thrive

Represent KIDS in Your Community – Attend member meetings, recruiting events, and interviews to help connect the right people with the right support

Keep the Team Flowing – Collaborate with Care Coordinators to ensure members and caregivers are always matched with the right fit

Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to your own vehicle)
✨ LCG's will help with supporting each of the Care Coordinators; however, their top 5 priorities will be:

Covering open shifts—whether new to KIDS, waiting on a pairing, or covering PTO for their caregiver

Providing observations & training as needed

Attending meet & greets, first shifts, interviewing caregivers, ISP meetings, etc., as backup when the CC cannot make it (this should be rare)

Assisting with auditing, shift notes for coaching, supporting 5-star review completions, and following up on documents

Supporting the Care Team, Recruiting, and the office team for community events
