Delivery Associates are responsible for delivering Amazon packages in a safe and efficient manner on their assigned routes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver assigned route which are up to 10 hours of drive time with (1) 30-minute unpaid lunch and (2) 15-minute paid breaks
- Load packages in van in a safe and efficient manner in required load out time (~approximately 20-minutes)
- Delivering routes ranging from 150-300 stops with packages counts upwards of 300 packages. *Stop counts and number of packages are not determined by CASA Logistics and vary daily
- Complete your route in assigned drive time
- Complete your route without the NEED of a driver rescue (once training period is complete)
- Drivers must help and rescue other drivers if routes completed before scheduled work day
- Responsible for logging in and out of Mentor APP daily and completing the pre and post damage report
- Practice safe driving while out on the road
- Deliver to homes, businesses, apartments, lockers and rural locations with possible dirt roads
- Communicate effectively with your Lead DAs, OTR Management, and CO while on the road if your encounter any issues or unsafe situations
- Follow all CASA Logistics and Amazon policies
- Maintaining vehicle by removing ALL personal items and cleaning trash of vehicle daily following shift, wiping down inside of vehicle (ie; steering wheel, dashboard, seat-belt and handles) with the appropriate disinfecting agent. Notify CASA Logistics of any additional vehicle issues
- Fuel up van before returning to station
- Wear company issued uniform
- Use Paycom time clock app to punch in and out for the day, as well as for mandatory 30 min lunch breaks
- Maintain a clean driving record with no speeding/DUI/or other driving infractions causing license to be in jeopardy
- Report for duty ON TIME and ready to work
