Responsibilities:
•    Read and interpret written work orders, machining sheets and templates. Perform operations as required by these work orders and machining sheets to configure the doors.
•    Notify Shop Supervisor of any discrepancies or defects.
•    Demonstrate competence and working knowledge of each machine that you have been trained and certified to operate.
•    Operate machines in a safe and efficient manner and perform periodic maintenance.  Notify Shop Supervisor of any equipment problems or safety concerns.
•    Perform assignments in the most efficient manner to maximize production and not jeopardize safety.
•    Have a working knowledge of, and follow, all appropriate quality control guidelines.         
•    Notify Shop Supervisor when coming in late or leaving early.
•    Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
•    Notify Shop Supervisor upon completion of daily work orders. Shop Supervisor may assign you to another task or ask you to begin working on the next day’s orders.
 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•    Performs work under general supervision.
•    Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
•    Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

Physical Requirements:
•    Lift 1-30# frequently (up to 50% in an 8-hour day)
•    Lift 30-60# regularly (up to 30% in an 8-hour day)
•    Lift 60+# occasionally (up to 25% in an 8-hour day)
•    Push/Pull 100# with assistance seldom (up to 13% in an 8-hour day)
•    Kneel occasionally (up to 25% in an 8-hour day)
•    Squat occasionally (up to 25% in an 8-hour day)
•    Stoop frequently (up to 25% in an 8-hour day)
•    Work with extended arms seldom (up to 13% in an 8-hour day)
