What will my day-to-day responsibilities look like?Â
Â
In this position you will be working hands on with our clients to provide guidance and suggestions to empower their learning. You will do this by:Â

Assess & Treat: Administer age-appropriate screenings and assessments to develop individualized therapy goals and objectives. Â

Use Evidence-Based Techniques: Implement therapeutic interventions for sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, feeding disorders, play skills, self-help skills, visual perception, handwriting, behavioral and emotional regulation, and activities of daily living. Â

Collaborate with Care Teams: Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective, personalized treatment plans. Â

Adapt Environments for Success: Make recommendations and train for the use of adaptive or specialized equipment and environmental modifications. Â

Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards. Â

Stay Current & Grow: Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay updated on the latest therapy practices. Â
Â
What do I need to be successful in this position?Â

Education: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Â

Certification: Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Â

Licensure: Active Missouri Occupational Therapy License in good standing (MO Board of Healing Arts). Â

Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Â

Physical Ability: Ability to stand, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull items as needed. Â

Reliable Transportation: Licensed and insured driver with a vehicle available for work-related travel. Â

Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to collaborate, adapt, and work independently in various settings. Â
