Overall Function:
Assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing and recording transactions, updating ledgers, and assists with audits.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with the maintenance of accounting records and verification of accounting data from processing vouchers and other documents.
- Assist with invoice preparation.
- Assist with balance sheet analysis.
- Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.
- Assist with monitoring expenditures and budgetary controls and preparing reports for funding sources.
- Assist with analyzing accounts and ensures accuracy of balances.
- Assist in conducting standard internal audits of assigned corporate operations and prepares analysis of findings.
- Assist in preparing and submitting assigned management reports in established formats as required in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as required.
