Position Overview: The Marketing Specialist supports the research, tracking, and implementation of marketing strategies aimed at driving registration growth for camps and retreats. This role focuses on utilizing data insights, particularly regarding registrations, to optimize marketing efforts while ensuring alignment with the T Bar M brand and ministry goals. Success in this role requires a collaborative spirit, working closely with the Marketing and Communications team as well as cross-departmentally to ensure unified messaging, effective strategy execution, and a team-first mindset.
Key Duties
1. Marketing Strategy
· Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans to support retention, referrals, and new customer acquisition.
· Support and provide strategy to the annual marketing project calendar, ensuring it aligns with organizational objectives.
· Drive strategy of marketing collateral to reach target audiences.
· Contribute to major registration events and annual registration drives.
· As Retreat business grows, support the Sales Team in growing customer base.
2. Content Management and Creation
· Develop a strong understanding of our target audience and the value of T Bar M programs, communicating this through all marketing channels.
· Collaboratively produce content for advertising and year-round customer engagement.
· Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team to create content that reflects the T Bar M brand.
3. Campaign & Channel Management
· Initiate projects for retention, referral, and new campaigns, including email marketing, print campaigns, postcards, and promotional items.
· Manage and create automations through Keap.
· Manage each marketing channel in accordance with marketing strategy, including email, social media, paid advertisements, website, digital advertising, events, and mailings.
· Assist in developing strategic ad campaigns for Meta Ads, geofenced platforms, and oversee/run Google Ads.
4. Analytics, Reporting, and Data Management
· Develop a strong understanding of customer database and generate lists for targeted marketing communications, including mail, email, and social media.
· Track registration goals and deadlines.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns utilizing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Analytics, and social media tracking.
· Collect and analyze registration data year over year and report on marketing performance metrics.
· Conduct and analyze market research to support strategic decisions.
5. Pre-registration Oversight
· Assist in managing the preregistration processes in the summer and tracking it through CircuiTree and Keap.
· Ensure pre-registration process is streamlined across all camp programs.
