Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 4 years work experience in a related field preferred
Competency
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Data manipulation: Proficiency in commonly used methods to query and manipulate data from databases
- Data visualization: Creating clear and impactful charts and graphs to communicate data insights
- Statistics: Understanding statistical concepts to analyze data accurately and identify patterns
- Data warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing systems to manage large datasets effectively
- Programming languages: Knowledge of available languages for data analysis, manipulation, automation, etc (Python, R, SQL, XLS Macros)
- Data Storytelling: Presenting complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences
- Catalog Management: Building and maintaining electronic product catalogs, preferably within the Industrial or Electrical Distribution industry.
- Pricing Strategy: Manage price files for multi-location customers providing consistent pricing experience
