Join our amazing team as a Ceramics Instructor. This position is responsible for teaching assigned classes in a designated program area, within established program guidelines and while providing the proper guidance and support for each participant. Class instruction may vary based on level of expertise of students/attendees and age range of students/attendees. May instruct classes for children through adult age. Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles of the District.

Pay & Schedule:Â
$25-28.00 per hour
This is a part time/seasonal non-IMRF, non-exempt position.
Mondays 5:30-7:00pm to begin, opportunity to add classes as they become available.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops and implements lessons or schedule supporting the established program curriculum.

Actively engages all students and provides support and constructive feedback.

Tracks attendance records and documents student progress, when required.

Prepares students for end of session shows as needed.

Arrives before class start time to inspect instruction space, set-up equipment and supplies if needed and greet students.

Regularly updates Supervisor on the condition of the teaching space and equipment.

Plans and organizes class routines, projects, when required.

Diligently follows and adheres to all safety policies and procedures.

Collaborates with internal and external customers in a positive manner.

Follows safe work practices.

Attends trainings and meetings as required.

Performs related duties as assigned.
