Opportunity:

Yamazen has an immediate opening for an Applications Engineer to join our team. As a journeyman machinist you will be responsible for machine setup, CNC programing and producing customer parts as a component of the sales process. The chosen candidate will enjoy working from a state-of-the-art technical facility that includes a high-tech demonstration showroom, office and conference areas. You will have the opportunity to work with world class products from Brother Industries, Matsuura, Nidec, and Takisawa Machine Tools, while using your talents to operate and demonstrate our products.

Skills and Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will possess a strong machining background that includes

• Proficiency with the setup, operation and programming of CNC Machining Centers and Turning Centers
• Experience with fixture and tool design
• 5-Axis programming & Mastercam experience preferred
• Great organization and prioritization skills
• A strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Strong verbal and written skills
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required

Compensation and Benefits:

Range: $28.85 - $40.87
