Part Time Gym Attendant

Role Overview:
 

Serrano Country Club is looking for a dependable and friendly Gym Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our fitness center. This part-time role is perfect for a college student or anyone who enjoys staying organized, keeping things clean, and providing excellent service in a professional, well-mannered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Member and Guest Service: Greet members and guests, assist with check-in, and address inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Facility Maintenance: Collect and restock gym towels, sanitize gym equipment, empty trash bins, clean tabletops, and perform other moderate custodial duties to keep the gym clean and organized.
• Scheduling and Administrative Tasks: Take and manage reservations for fitness classes and tennis courts, monitor and coordinate schedules, handle check-ins and check-outs, and maintain accurate records.

• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to perform duties with precision and uphold the country club’s high standards of service.
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in previous roles.
• Poise: Ability to handle multiple tasks with composure and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid work permit.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Compensation:

• $16.50 per hour.
