WHAT WE DO
Our Medication Services program support clients enrolled in mental health services through Med Clinics spread out across several ReDiscover locations. At our Med Clinics, our staff evaluates each client and prescribe and monitor medication as necessary. The program also supports some clients within various ReDiscover Substance Use Disorder programs as well.
At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:
- Administers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment according to specific psychiatrist protocols: Set up the TMS Medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
- Schedules appointments, administering TMS treatments as prescribed, and assisting patients.
- Administers psychiatric rating scales and document outcomes.
- Responsible for creating a clean therapeutic and healing environment that provides the best care and the best patient experience.
- Keeps the exam rooms organized by notifying the correct individual when supplies are low and stocks the supplies.
- Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.
