About the Coed Program


td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;} The Coed Substance Use Disorder program aims to help adults with a substance use or co-occurring disorder in an outpatient or residential setting. Through medication assisted treatment, paired with individualized therapy, group education, and case management, the Coed Substance Use Disorder program offers a well rounded holistic approach to client's needs.


What You'll Do


  • Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).
  • Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.
  • Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the program space.
  • Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.

Requirements of the Position


  • Availability to work a Full Time schedule (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator’s license (or equivalent license in another state).
  • Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law.
  • Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite.
