About the Coed Program
 The Coed Substance Use Disorder program aims to help adults with a substance use or co-occurring disorder in an outpatient or residential setting. Through medication assisted treatment, paired with individualized therapy, group education, and case management, the Coed Substance Use Disorder program offers a well rounded holistic approach to client's needs.

What You'll Do
- Conduct clinical interviews to assess and diagnose clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Carry a caseload and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Provide individual counseling, group therapy, and group education to support recovery and relapse prevention.
- Make clinical recommendations and interventions to address client needs and promote optimal functioning in the community.
- Collaborate with clients and treatment teams to ensure coordinated care and progress toward treatment goals.
- Support clients in developing knowledge, skills, and support systems to maintain recovery and community integration.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and client interactions accurately in the designated electronic medical record.

Requirements of the Position
- Availability to work a full-time schedule, (40-hours a week), Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a social science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health).
- Active Provisional Counselor license (PLPC) through the state of Missouri or a Master Social Worker license (LMSW) with registered supervision with the Missouri Division of Professional Registration for licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in a minimum requirement.
- Active clinical license in the State of Missouri which includes: Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health setting.
- Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
