Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead the daily operations of our Women’s Center, which includes a team of OB/GYN and Urogynecology Physicians and Advanced Practice Practitioners. This position requires a thoughtful, strategic leader who can balance the clinical, operational, and business functions of a busy women’s health practice.

The Manager will be a strong collaborator, communicator, and operational problem-solver who brings energy, initiative, and leadership to the team. They will work in close partnership with physicians and nursing leadership to ensure high-functioning day-to-day operations, continuous improvement in patient access, revenue cycle, and an exceptional patient and team experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

  • Lead all aspects of daily clinic operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice practitioners, staff, and support teams to streamline workflows and ensure coordinated care across the department.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor protocols and procedures that align with clinical, regulatory, and business goals.
  • Optimize provider scheduling templates and clinical throughput to improve patient access and operational performance.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow from check-in to check-out, including coordination with triage, nursing, and procedural staff.
  • Ensure appropriate resource allocation across clinical and administrative functions.

Business & Financial Management

  • Monitor key financial and operational KPIs; analyze variances and lead corrective action plans as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial performance without compromising care quality or patient experience.

Staff Leadership

  • Hire, onboard, supervise, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.
  • Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage time-off requests to maintain adequate coverage while ensuring payroll accuracy.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Addressing staffing needs, productivity, and morale through effective communication and leadership.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards related to infusion services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field required; equivalent job experience may be accepted.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of healthcare leadership experience preferably in women’s health, OB/GYN, or related outpatient specialty.
  • Demonstrated success with scheduling, staffing, and patient access initiatives in a high-volume outpatient setting.
  • Experience with EHR systems; Epic experience a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence, build cross-functional relationships, and adapt in a dynamic clinical environment.

Work Environment

This position operates in a clinical setting. Standard business hours with occasional extended hours to meet departmental needs.
