Minimal Qualifications:
Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s degree relevant to human services and at least two (2) years of related experience in one of the following areas: social services, counseling, crisis intervention, family services, preventive services or housing.
Incumbents must have good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the client population as well as with representatives of government and private agencies.
Experience with running groups for abused families or specialized knowledge of substance abuse issues, treatment and family dynamics treatment is preferred.
Other Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with focus on providing excellent client services.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to complete reports, as assigned
- Demonstrate ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with a diverse community of residents, program staff and external vendors.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and apply problem solving skills.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team oriented and outcomes focused environment.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $54,075 per year.
