Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager with a strong background in Environmental Services (EVS) and/or janitorial services within medical facilities to support a new account in the Phoenix market. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring service quality and regulatory compliance, and leading teams across healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing teams in clinical or hospital settings, with a strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day janitorial and EVS operations across assigned healthcare sites.

  • Supervise and support frontline staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and other healthcare-related standards.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for client communications, maintaining strong working relationships.

  • Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness and adherence to contract standards.

  • Support inventory control and supply ordering within budget guidelines.

  • Prepare and present operational reports and performance metrics.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in janitorial or EVS operations, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams in fast-paced settings.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel locally to client sites throughout the Phoenix area.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
