Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Analyst to support our procurement and sourcing initiatives through data-driven insights and analysis. This role will be instrumental in gathering, developing, and analyzing reporting from internal systems to support strategic decision-making, particularly for high-visibility presentations such as board meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, excellent computer skills, and master-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. They must be capable of navigating company systems to extract key data, transforming it into meaningful reports that guide the sourcing team and leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze reports and dashboards to track sourcing performance, cost savings, supplier performance, and key procurement metrics.
  • Identify, extract, and manipulate data from various company systems (ERP, procurement tools, data warehouses) to support strategic sourcing activities.
  • Partner with sourcing and procurement teams to deliver actionable insights for supplier negotiations, category strategies, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Support leadership in preparation for board meetings and executive reviews through accurate, visually compelling, and data-rich presentations.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply base and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Assist in automating recurring reports and optimizing data collection processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all sourcing reports and tools.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analyst role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of data extraction and reporting from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to clearly convey complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a strategic sourcing or category management environment.
  • Familiarity with procurement KPIs and strategic sourcing processes.
  • Exposure to executive-level reporting or board materials.
