Position Summary:

ATG USA is seeking a seasoned Architectural Tech II - Consulting with minimum 5 years of experience in the AECO industry to join our Technical Services team. This cross-functional role blends deep technical expertise in Revit, visualization, and design workflows with a strong focus on client consultation, BIM implementation, and process optimization. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation in architecture, possesses a collaborative spirit, and thrives in a dynamic consulting environment.

Location:

North Little Rock, AR or Phoenix, AZ in office preferred. Open to remote in other locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client-Facing Consulting:
    • Deliver consulting services related to Revit modeling, template standardization, and BIM workflows.
    • Guide clients through BIM adoption, implementation planning, and workflow optimization.
    • Lead discovery sessions, scoping meetings, and progress check-ins.
  • Technical Services Delivery:
    • Provide architectural modeling support for design and construction documentation.
    • Perform template and content audits, Revit family creation, and standards documentation.
    • Conduct QA/QC model health reviews and assist in conflict resolution during coordination phases.
  • Training & Support:
    • Deliver customized Revit training sessions and BIM workshops (live and virtual).
    • Provide support for Autodesk AEC tools with a focus on architectural design.
    • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing across teams.
  • Documentation & Standards:
    • Develop Revit project templates, documentation standards, and project setup guidelines.
    • Assist in authoring or reviewing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), SOPs, and related deliverables.
  • Technology & Innovation:
    • Stay up-to-date with advancements in Autodesk tools, BIM standards (e.g., LOD, COBie), and emerging technologies (e.g., Dynamo, DiRoots, Tandem).
    • Support R&D efforts for automation and productivity enhancements within Revit environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in architectural design or BIM consulting role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and architectural workflows.
  • Proficiency in Twinmotion for Revit
  • Experience with BIM Execution Planning, project standards, and model coordination.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and clearly articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Dynamo, DiRoots tools, or similar Revit plugins.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk tools (Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650, NBIMS-US, and AIA E203.
  • Previous experience in a consulting, training, or client-facing role.

Additional Information:

  • Travel: Occasional travel for client engagements or company events (less than 10%).
  • Work Hours: 40 hours/week, flexible scheduling available.

Additionally, the candidate should be able to lift and carry office items weighing up to 30 pounds as needed.
