We manage ten communities across eight locations in North Georgia, serving over 1,800 older adults. Our portfolio includes:

To support this mission, the Wesley Woods Foundation raises essential philanthropic resources.
Our corporate office is located in Atlanta, Georgia, with communities in Atlanta, Athens, Augusta, Blairsville, Newnan, and Roswell.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Wesley Woods Senior Living, Inc. (WWSL), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a critical leadership role in advancing the mission of the organization. The CFO partners with the CEO, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors to oversee all financial, administrative, and risk management operations.
As a corporate officer appointed by the Board, the CFO also serves as Secretary/Treasurer for WWSL and its affiliated entities and acts as a non-voting board member for each affiliate.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership

Serve as a financial advisor to internal leadership and external property owners managed by Wesley Woods.

Embrace and foster the organization’s faith-based, mission-driven culture to support long-term financial health and strategic goals.

Provide financial and strategic guidance to the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors.

Act as Secretary/Treasurer for all Wesley Woods boards and participate in board and committee meetings.
Operations

Lead treasury, financing, and accounting activities across all managed entities.

Oversee internal and external financial reporting functions.

Direct the annual budgeting and planning process.

Supervise the Financial Services Department and maintain strong accounting systems and internal controls.

Manage independent financial audits for all entities in collaboration with Audit Committees.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of income tax and information returns for WWSL and affiliates.

Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing finance staff, establishing clear performance objectives and accountability structures.
Risk Management

Maintain strong internal controls and ensure financial practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Oversee compliance with payroll tax requirements.

Ensure adherence to bond covenants, HUD financing guidelines, and IRS 501(c)(3) regulations.

Serve as liaison with financial regulatory agencies for all managed properties.

As Corporate Secretary, maintain accurate and legally compliant records, oversee timely filings, and ensure secure and accessible document storage.
Communication

Represent Wesley Woods in relationships with community partners, faith organizations, government agencies, and professional associations.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the organization to gather insight and foster collaboration.

Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships.

Build strong interpersonal relationships across all levels of the organization.

Support the CEO in preparing reports and materials for the WWSL and Foundation boards; participate in board committees as assigned.
