GhostDraft Developer

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced GhostDraft Integration Developer with Guidewire integration expertise to join our growing Technology team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring GhostDraft templates and document generation workflows, while ensuring seamless integration with Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). You will collaborate with Guidewire leads, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver compliant, accurate, and efficient insurance documents that support business operations. 

To ensure success, you should exhibit strong development skills, proven experience with GhostDraft, and hands-on integration work with Guidewire platforms. This is a hands-on development role. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of GhostDraft implementation and Guidewire integration experience. 


Duties & Responsibilities 


  • Design, implement, and maintain GhostDraft templates, forms, and document workflows. 

  • Integrate GhostDraft with Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) to automate document generation. 

  • Partner with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical document solutions. 

  • Ensure all templates comply with regulatory, legal, and branding standards. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve GhostDraft template and integration issues. 

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to support deployment pipelines and testing automation. 

  • Assess and communicate the business impact of technical design and integration choices. 

  • Provide documentation, best practices, and knowledge transfer to cross-functional teams. 



Required Skills & Abilities 



  • Expertise in document automation and template development using GhostDraft. 

  • Hands-on experience integrating GhostDraft with Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). 

  • Strong proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and related document processing technologies. 

  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services for system integration. 

  • Skilled in identifying and resolving performance or configuration issues. 

  • Strong collaboration skills to work with BAs, QA, and development teams. 

  • Effective communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for project and defect tracking. 


Required Education and Experience 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • At least five years of software development or integration experience. 

  • Minimum of three years’ experience with GhostDraft or a similar document production system. 

  • Certification on any document production system. 

  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). 


Preferred Requirements 


  • Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter). 

  • Property and Casualty insurance domain knowledge. 

  • Experience with other document automation platforms (e.g., Smart Communications, OpenText, DocuSign). 

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines. 


Physical Requirements 


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 


Salary: Starting at $130,000 annually. Candidate's skills, experience and abilities will be taken into consideration for final offer.
