REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Associate’s Degree, or related equivalent experience,
- Minimum equivalent experience is three (3) years’ experience in metrology and repair of TMDE.
- Good working knowledge of calibration and maintenance of Optics primary measurements standards.
- Possesses the knowledge required to read and understand schematic and wiring drawings.
- Thorough understanding of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and USAF T.O. 00-20-14.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to qualify for or have successfully completed a National Agency Check Investigation within the last ten (10) years.
- Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Windows based operating systems, and general internet navigation and usage required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Essential/Typical Duties:
- Maintains, repairs, and calibrates Force Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
- Performs general maintenance and overhaul procedures; uses TMDE to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Non-Essential Duties:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Lifting/Moving Requirements:

The individual ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements when calibrating certain TMDE.

Normally works in an environmentally controlled work area.
