Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position:
- Strategic Planning:Â Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and values.
- Brand Consistency:Â Ensure consistent brand messaging and voice across all communication channels.
- Content Creation:Â Oversee the creation and distribution of compelling content for various platforms.
- Reputation Management:Â Protect and enhance the organization's reputation, especially during times of crisis.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management:Â Build and maintain positive relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Measurement and Analysis:Â Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts.
Internal Communications Responsibilties:
- Employee Engagement:Â Develop and implement strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals.
- Change Management:Â Communicate organizational changes effectively to minimize disruption and foster understanding.
- Internal Channels:Â Manage internal communication channels such as intranets, newsletters, company-wide emails, town halls, and internal social media platforms.
- Leadership Communication:Â Support senior leadership in crafting and delivering messages to employees.

- Media Relations:Â Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers; handle media inquiries, arrange interviews, and prepare spokespersons.
- Public Relations (PR):Â Develop and execute PR campaigns, write and distribute press releases, and secure positive media coverage.
- Crisis Communication:Â Develop and implement crisis communication plans, serving as a key point of contact during reputation-threatening situations.
- Digital Communication:Â Manage the organization's website, social media accounts, and other digital platforms, ensuring engaging and up-to-date content.
- Content Marketing:Â Create and oversee the production of external content like blog posts, articles, case studies, and reports.
- Events and Partnerships:Â Coordinate and manage corporate events, conferences, and speaking engagements, and foster relationships with external partners.
- Community Relations:Â Engage with community organizations and manage local outreach efforts.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education needed to perform the job successfully:

- Mandarin speaker is a mustÂ
- BA, BS, in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills: strong verbal, written and digital communication skills are essential
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Writing & Editing: Proficiency in writing and editing various communication materials.
- Media Relations: Experience building and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
- Digital Marketing: Knowledge of social media management, website content management, and other digital communication tools.
- Crisis Management: Ability to handle communication challenges and crises effectively.
- Leadership & Management: Ability to manage and mentor a team of communication professionals.
