The Kimbell Art Museum offers paid, part-time Marketing and Public Relations internship to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates, who are interested in learning about museum practices and developing professional skills.
The Kimbell internship program is designed to mentor future museum professionals from diverse cultural, economic, social, and educational backgrounds. Interns are assigned to departments based on their academic background, professional skills, interests, and goals. Under the supervision of designated staff members, interns work both independently and collaboratively to gain comprehensive experience through immersive projects.
The Kimbell Art Museum’s Marketing and Public Relations Department intern will help plan, prepare for, and implement marketing and public relations communications and activities that reach our diverse audiences; learn about daily practices within the museum profession; and further develop their appreciation and understanding of masterpieces on view in the galleries.
