Description

Responsibilities: Maintenance/Team

  • Follow all safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
  • Mechanical disassembly and reassembly of parts and machine components.
  • Root cause analysis and repairs.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Understand and diagnose problems in industrial control systems and equipment.
  • Prioritize tasks and make decisions, at times, with limited supervision.
  • Will serve as a plant First Responder for medical, environmental, and facility emergencies.
  • Potential for handling hazardous wastes.
  • Update/complete work orders. i.e. time worked, comments of work done, m/c downtime and parts used.
  • Other Duties assigned by Coach/Manager

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics certification course from an accredited college or university, have completed equivalent training and/or relevant OJT experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, control circuits, motors, pumps, and industrial electrical power distribution.
  • Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude. i.e. Read/understand prints, schematics, and ladder logic.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate, and coordinate between various other departments.
  • Must possess and have demonstrated the ability to work within the Team environment. 
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned.  Shifts are subject to change due to business needs.
  • No active level of counseling.

Note:

 
  • Required to work plant shutdowns, holidays, and weekends as scheduled or nonscheduled workdays.
