Job Description Summary

Working with the Director of Database marketing, track, analyze and maintain all implemented database marketing and e-based marketing programs. Oversee day to day management Database marketing staff and may preform advanced analytics and database management.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Assist in the development and implementation of programs that accomplish strategic and tactical objectives that drive repeat business, enhance customer loyalty, increase brand recognition and recall, drive volume and increase revenue.
  • Responsible for supervision of others as designated by the Director of Database Marketing. Enforces all standard operating procedures and internal controls in the organization and recommends changes for improvement to the Director of Database Marketing.
  • Oversees hiring, training and scheduling for all Database Marketing Team Members.
  • Oversee the maintenance of existing customer loyalty-based programs.
  • Oversee the maintenance of database files on all aspects and activities of direct mail marketing programs that enhance customer-loyalty, support strategic and tactical objectives that drive repeat business, increase brand recognition and recall, drive volume and increase revenue.
  • Assist in the review and creation of proformas and post analysis for all promotions, tournaments and player recognition events.
  • Ensures department coordination with necessary external vendors and internal departments to ensure accuracy of direct mail programs.
  • Ensures integrity of the database through data entry standardization and cleanliness programs. (Group one/Group One or similar products)
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Creates and Monitors ways to keep track of jobs and duties that are being performed by the Analysts and coordinators in the Marketing Database department.
  • Does the following management duties to include assisting, training, and monitoring all duties completed by department team members.  Works on team member relation programs and completes all performance reviews and completes meetings and discussions with team members about performance. 
  • Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field is required.
  • 5 years or more work experience as a Database Marketing experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of the bachelor’s degree requirement.
  • 2+ years supervisor experience
  • Experience managing project workload
  • 2 years’ experience working as a Database Marketing Analyst with experience in complex analytics.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Excel and Sql required. 
  • 2+ years’ Experience in presenting and preparing data presentations for upper level management. 
  • 2 years’ experience with reporting or query programming language, other relational databases, and or related software packages; demonstrated ability to learn other computer languages and /or software systemsKnowledge of Casino Operations database management Knowledge of Casino Operations database management Experience with reporting or query programming language, other relational databases, and /or related software packages; demonstrated ability to learn other computer languages and /or software systems.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.  Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
