Description

The Slot Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and finalizing slot projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including but not limited to the installation and maintenance of new games, conversions, systems games and player tracking hardware. The Slot Project Manager oversees part ordering and maintains an accurate inventory of slot repair parts and warehoused machines. Slot Project Manager trains technical personnel in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of above listed equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Slot Project Manager (other duties may be assigned)

  • Coordinates and finalizes installation and maintenance of new games, slot conversions, systems games, player tracking hardware, slot floor movement, software upgrades and removal of slot machines from active service
  • Maintains an accurate and complete inventory of warehoused slot machines and slot repair parts
  • Oversees the purchasing of slot repair parts
  • Schedules proper staffing to accommodate specific projects
  • Performs preventative maintenance/repair/diagnostics on Slot machines/progressive systems/casino signage, on line tracking systems hardware and ticket redemption machines
  • Conducts training in routine repair and preventative maintenance for slot machines and peripheral devices
  • Supervises and trains personnel for maintenance/repair of slot machines
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Must comply with all applicable internal controls, standard operating procedures and Tribal Regulations
  • Documents and reports all exceptions/variations/deviations immediately upon awareness

Supervisory Responsibilities of the Slot Project Manager

  • Slot Technicians (Project Team)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • AA degree from a 2-year college or technical school and 2 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and specific prior experience
  • 1-2 years experience teaching and instructing personnel in the technical field preferred
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Ability to use standard P.C. software

GAMING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
