Project Manager

Position Overview:

Millennium Control Systems is seeking a Project Manager with an industrial background. The project manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a project from start to finish. Throughout the project, the manager monitors progress, communicates with stakeholders, and ensures the project stays within scope, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Work with planning to coordinate scheduling based on the as-sold milestones of the project
• Prepare budget to track planned versus actual cost for project auditing
• Communicate with the assigned team members throughout the complete lifecyle of the project
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and adjust as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

What we need you to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong computer skills with competency in such software as MS Office, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Access, and OneNote
• Previous experience in cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of projects
• Ability to learn new tasks and software
• Detail oriented, organized, highly motivated with a positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor
• Engineering or Technical background in an Industrial Environment preferred – will train to job specifics

What we’d love you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field
• PMP certification

Additional Information:

• Hybrid Position - Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 4 days per week and 1 day remote.
