POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading/training volunteers, job trainees, students and GRID staff in PV installations while adhering to the following: OSHA Safety compliance, NEC/CEC code compliance, GRID standards, QA/QC App completion, and Salesforce entry of all required fields and notes.
Timely completion of Service Calls, QC Tasks, and Other tasks including all required documentation
Coordination and/or execution of Building Permit Inspections, and permit running duties, including all required documentation as needed, completing safety compliance field inspections
Other Responsibilities:
- Equipment purchasing as needed for installations as needed
- Equipment unloading and loading daily
- Cleaning and general maintenance of truck, trailer, and work area in coordination with Solar Installation Assistant - Warehouse
- Participate in GRID’s equity, inclusion, and diversity work
- Train and/or mentor other staff, volunteers, students, and/or job trainees as assigned in construction related activities
- Assisting with paperwork for all departments as needed, answering homeowner and volunteer questions, talking to media
- Other duties as assigned
