Submarine Electronic Warfare – Operational/Technical/Training SME – Guam

In-Depth Engineering is seeking a senior level individual with extensive expertise in submarine electronic warfare to serve as an Operational/Technical/Training SME. This position requires detailed knowledge of the AN/BLQ-10 System and the ability to interface with all levels of Navy infrastructure. This includes all levels of platform personnel; Commanding Officer to the most junior Radioman, Navy Program Office, In-Depth Program Office, Tenders, Squadrons, Submarine Learning Center and Regional Maintenance Centers.
This is a permanent full-time salaried position that may entail domestic and international travel.
Candidates for consideration must be US citizens and currently have a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Work is performed in Guam.

Duties
• Conduct platform/site visits for all Submarines, Squadrons, Learning Facilities and Regional Maintenance Centers (RMC) within their fleet concentration areas of responsibility on a weekly basis.
• During Submarine visits:
• Conduct IETM Version validation checks per the Quarterly ILS Message.
• Conduct AN/BLQ-10(V) system health checks and provide the ship with the findings during the system health checks.
• Offer Training of Opportunity to the ship based on errors or failures noted during system health checks.
• Offer/Coordinate all requested Dockside Refresher Training (DRT) and required Dockside Difference Training (DDT).
• Provide training as directed by PMS435
• Track Dockside Training conducts per platform and report to Squadron and PMS435 when platforms are perceived to be at risk due to deferred or declined training
• During Squadron visits:
• Provide the Squadron and, if requested, Squadron Staff with the current health assessment of all AN/BLQ-10(V) Systems for the Submarines which they are responsible for.
• Provide training as directed by PMS435
• Work in coordination with the Squadron to setup and execute Waterfront Training Seminars.
• During Submarine Learning Facility visits:
• Assist the Training Center in conducting formal AN/BLQ-10(V) maintenance training classes
• Provide Instructor Refresher Training (IRT) to bolster and maintain their level of knowledge on multiple AN/BLQ-10(V) system configurations.
• During RMC visits:
• Coordinate with the local area RMC whenever training is required for maintenance beyond O-level (as directed by PMS435). This assures that the RMC will not be inadvertently excluded from tasks under their purview.
• Solicit and compile fleet feedback for reporting to PMS435.
• Support the In-Service Review and/or any other PMS435-directed events
