Under the direction of the CEO, the Plant Manager is responsible for organizing and directing the workflow in the processing, smoking, and packaging departments within the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coaches, Mentors, Leads, and Directs the Production Supervisor, Quality Assurance Manager, Processing Foreman, and Packaging Lead regarding all operational responsibilities.
- Oversee the plant’s food safety program and ensure food safety results meet expectations while maintaining a good working relationship with USDA/FSIS inspection personnel.
- Meets performance metrics which trace productivity, yield, labor efficiencies, quality, and inventory turnover.
- Maintains current projections of capacity/profitability for all lines.
- Perform other duties as directed by the CEO
