ION Solar is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support our fast-paced Operations team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that the right materials are delivered to the right place, at the right time, to keep our solar installations running smoothly across multiple markets. You’ll be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, tracking usage trends, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to prevent delays or shortages.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material orders for upcoming solar installations and warehouse replenishment.
- Monitor inventory levels and usage trends across multiple warehouses and regions.
- Forecast material needs based on sales volume, schedules, and project timelines.
- Communicate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies in real-time.
- Maintain accurate inventory data in internal systems (e.g., NetSuite, Fishbowl Inventory, Salesforce).
- Support warehouse and field teams with material availability updates and provide resolution to any issues.
- Assist with returns, cancellations, damaged goods, and inventory adjustments.
- Work cross-functionally with the scheduling team, designers, 3rd party distributors, install coordinators, purchasing, warehouse leads, and operations leadership to ensure project readiness.
- Provide reporting on material flow, shortages, and inventory turns.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory coordination, or operations support.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in solar, construction, or a similar industry is preferred but not required.
