Position Summary
The Director of Manufacturing role provides oversight for the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department, including resource allocation and monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability targets are consistently met or exceeded. This role reports to the COO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the right people in the right seats within the department team to achieve ownership and accountability, providing day-to-day coaching and guidance to department team members to develop them to their fullest potential.
- Build strong succession planning strategy to continue to build and grow talent within the plants.
- Participate in formulating and developing long range goals and objectives regarding manufacturing processes to support Prinsco’s service standards, procedures & strategic directives.
- Coordinate planning and scheduling with sales leadership to exceed customer expectations and meet customer demands
- Lead continuous improvement at each location, including Safety, Quality, OEE and 5 S’s.
- Ensure healthy and safe working environments, including compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with location management and the EHS Manager.
- Drive results at production facilities and yards to meet their annual objectives and cost targets, initiating improvements and changes as needed.
- Partner with Engineering and Sales/Marketing to implement the production processes for new products.
- Support process engineering efforts to ensure company facilities and equipment are adequately designed, built, and maintained.
- Focus on cross-training, continuous learning and improvement.
