JOB SUMMARY
This position requires high level attention to detail, excellent organizational, communication and administrative skills. In collaboration with the SURGE Program Manager, the SURGE Program Assistant will support continuing education activities in coordination with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s Division of Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction (PDPH SUPHR) initiatives to increase access to Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) in primary care settings.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Responsibilities/Duties
- Assist in recruitment, scheduling and tracking of training participants
- Document, distribute, and organize meeting minutes
- Maintain records of program activities and evaluation feedback
- Track honoraria payments to presenters
- Develop and maintain relationships with training partners (including PDPH SUPHR, presenters and clinical observation sites)
- Obtain required documentation/paperwork for continuing education for training
- Collaborate with continuing education team on applications and post-training documentation for continuing education credits
- Summarize and report on training evaluation results
- Provide onsite or online assistance at training events
- Attend regular supervision and project meetings
