Description

The CFTSS Supervisor works under the direction of the Program Manager of CFTSS. The CFTSS Supervisor oversees services in their specialty (OLP, CPST & PSR) within a region as well as ensuring that each Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Other Licensed Professional (OLP) delivers impactful services. The CFTSS Supervisor’s job duty is to ensure that all services delivered within their discipline are effective, meet OMH regulations, and collaborate with other providers on treatment planning. This is a full time, 40 hour/week, benefit eligible position.

           

Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of service providers within their area of expertise.
  • Review agency documentation completed by service providers, including billing documentation for compliance and quality.
  • Oversee the completion of all coordinating documents for the CFTSS services.
  • Provide ongoing teaching/coaching to service providers to promote high quality services.
  • Assist in planning, participate in team meetings, to advocate and support the team as needed.
  • Provide direct service and coordination or services to children and families, as needed.
  • Clinical applicants with a license will have additional duties including intakes, covering team meetings and ensuring the completion of documentation associated with those tasks, meeting high quality standards.
  • Work cooperatively with the Care Managers (if applicable), Medicaid Managed Care Liaisons, and/or other outside agencies to maintain the best quality of care for the child and family.
  • Travel into the community and family homes to carry out responsibilities.
  • Maintain compliance with all required training.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, inclusion, and cultural understanding in all aspects of service delivered for clients and employees.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • A master's degree in human services or related field plus two years of related experience in working with youth and families with complex emotional, behavioral, developmental, or medical challenges
     OR A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field plus three years of experience in working with youth and families with complex emotional, behavioral, developmental, or medical challenges

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Licensed applicants preferred but not mandatory i.e. Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC).
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Experience with children’s mental health, behavioral or foster care preferred.
  • Availability to support direct care staff as needed during evenings and weekends.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license, with reliable transportation

Essential Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to sit, squat, crouch and stand for elongated periods of time
  • Ability to lift arms over head in upward reaching motion.
  • Ability to walk up and downstairs up to several times per day.
  • Varying levels of travel as determined by departmental needs may be required with this position.
