The Clinician is responsible for performing duties that involve the assessment, treatment, case management and programmatic support for youth admitted to Children’s Crisis Respite, both during and after their stay. This position is scheduled in a manner that best accommodates client, department, and Agency business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments and documentation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment plan implementation.
- Provide individual and family therapy during the youth’s stay and after they are discharged.
- Provide therapeutic support during youth crisis.
- Network with all individuals/agencies associated with youth. This includes inter- and intra-agency meetings or proceedings.
- Provide information to respite staff that relates to treatment and casework.
- Function as part of program leadership.
- Function as part of the periodic on-call rotation.
