Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience working with youth in child welfare/juvenile justice, mental health, or crisis settings.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessments, and incident management.

- Excellent leadership skills to effectively manage and oversee all aspects of the program, including staff supervision, program development, and youth care.
- Ability to build rapport with youth, staff, and all stakeholders.
- Ability to make sound professional decisions quickly despite stressful atmosphere.
- Ability to provide crisis intervention, including physical restraints. Restraints may include resistive force, bending, squatting, kneeling, lying down, and holding the youth to maintain safety.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to sit, squat, crouch, and stand for elongated periods
- Ability to lift arms overhead in a reaching motion
- Ability to walk up and down stairs several times per day.
- Travel as required based on departmental needs.
- Valid Driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
