EVS Aide

DISC Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time EVS Aide for our Thousand Oaks location. This position hours will vary but will require availability to work Monday - Friday. The EVS aide plays a pivotal role in supporting Registered Nurses and Doctors across our two operating rooms. 

In this position, you will:

• Perform general cleaning of the facility, patient care area and staff spaces
• Equipment maintenance
• Handle specimen transport
• Assist with room turnover and case set up
• Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR, including discharge
• Load, unload and stock supplies
• Provide pre-op support and aid the OR team in positioning of patients and preparation.

To ensure success in this role, you should have:

• Prior EVS background required, with experience in terming cleaning, adhering to strict infection control guidelines and comprehensive understanding of OSHA guidelines
• The ability to lift 25 lbs
• Familiarity with terminal cleaning, medical terminology, equipment, and operating room protocols are preferred

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00
