What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Director of Rehab, the OrthoRI Surgery Center Physical Therapists implement progressive evidence based direct patient care for the acute setting, primarily focused on patient education, patient preparation for surgery, and assisting in safe patient discharge home in the ambulatory surgical setting. They are expected to be knowledgeable in pain science, functional movement patterns, and effective patient communication. They perform the tasks required by a physical therapist in compliance with state law including evaluations, reevaluations, development of treatment planning, supervision of physical therapist assistants and support staff.
